I was introduced to acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in 1988.  At the time, I was searching for a career – I had tried education and computer programming but I could tell early on that these were not for me.  In contrast, I have loved acupuncture from the beginning. Acupuncture has healed my own body and mind in very deep and meaningful ways.
Acupuncture works with energy.  The body is alive because there is energy that runs through it.  Intuitively, we know that the energy is there.  When we feel great, we feel our energy flowing smoothly.  When we don’t feel so great, we feel stuck.  Acupuncture is very subtle but it alters the body’s energy so you feel right again.
I love that acupuncture increases a person’s quality of life. It harmonizes body and mind to create well-being.  It gives an alternative to taking pharmaceutical drugs for the rest of  your life.  It not only treats acute symptoms and pain but also chronic injuries, chronic illnesses, physical and emotional trauma, chronic infections, infertility, and all of those symptoms that your doctor says are not treatable.
My job is not only to  rebalance your energy but to provide hope.  In each moment of our lives, the essence of being human lies in the possibility of transformation.  Acupuncture can provide that transformation.
